I. Am. So. Tired.
Yesterday was a pretty grand day. I woke up early enough to eat cocoa crispies with Justin and I only fell asleep once in Anatomy. After class, I ordered new counter tops for my kitchen (bright red!) and then Jordy called so we hung out. We hit up Book Haven and after sifting through novels for almost an hour I settled on
The Other Boleyn Girl. I've been meaning to read it for ages and I haven't been read anything since I finished the Harry Potter books so I'm looking forward to curling up with it. We ran into Brittney in Wal-Mart and stole her from her friends to go see
The Haunting in Connecticut with us. I swear, watching horror flicks with Brittney is like having your own personal sensory-enhancing drug. She's the scream-and-throw-popcorn type of girl. It was a good movie, but it was definitely better with Jordy, Britt, and I all clutching each other for dear life and covering our eyes. Ha. Has anyone else noticed that scary movies are starting to actually have a decent plot/story line again? For awhile all of the new scary movies that came out just relied completely on the make-you-jump-in-your-seat factor and left the plot full of holes.
Anyway.
Today I've been sanding cabinets and tearing down wallpaper. Ugh. I'm going to the lawyer on Friday to have the deed to the house put in my name. Hopefully. I'm ready to get started with the hardcore renovations.
I'll leave you with these. I shot them last week. Her name is Teresa. She's a little beauty queen.
